United Britain - Many faiths - One voice

"The United Shades of Britain celebrates the multi-ethnic and multi-religious nature of Britain, and is opposed to intolerance, extremism and bigotry of any kind."

Welcome to the United Shades of Britain website.

The aims of this organisation are to encourage people to talk about issues that affect them, and to promote social cohesion. It doesn't matter which religion you follow, or what background you come from, because there is one thing that links us all to each other: we are all human beings.

Our aim is to break down barriers between people and create a wider sense of community spirit. In our Facebook group we have built a strong online community, and have discussed in detail many issues that affect us all in some way. We have discovered that, through these discussions, we are able to learn a considerable amount from each other, and also break down a lot of common misconceptions that have been built up in the media and through other platforms.

With this website we want to build on our small foundations, and hope to unite people across our country against extremism, in all its forms.
